Church and School Building
Open Schools Worldwide (OSWW) provides an educational intervention to children that do not have access to school. We train local volunteers to teach literacy, numeracy, and basic life skills, along with the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Lole Village in the Chikwawa basin of southern Malawi, Pastor Machunga and his assistant Precious oversee 21 OSWW projects, as well as run a local church in a mud structure which they have had to rebuild several times due to the frequent cyclones and tropical storms that Malawi is susceptible to, which cause floods and destroy structures, roads, and crops. We hope to erect a simple structure along with 2 toilet stalls in order to give them a more permanent and safe place in which to operate
